I’ve read the 3 books at least 4 times and pick up different nuances every time. I am ecstatic that Buck has true friends and a support system. That with Charlotte he will not only value her but learn to value himself. I hope for Buck’s sake that he leaves the 118 the fact that there are no consequences to Chimney erg. I think the actor is cute but Lord love a duck how a man his age in the fire department still has a job…..Gerrard be damned. I often wondered why the rank and file different have the red flu (aka the blue flu or for youngsters calling in sick en masse) or why Hen and Chimney didn’t go to the ACLU or NCAAP or hell even the fed’s the whistle blower act was enacted in 1989. The hate crimes act was enacted in 1969. Wouldn’t toughing it out including standing up for what’s right? Sorry off my soap box.
I think that you stayed true to Buck’s voice as he explores and protects was important to him. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love this series. I am writing a whole year later because, truthfully, I was hoping there would be more in the 2026 bang, and while sad there isn’t, because I absolutely love rereading this, I noticed that you didn’t write anything in the quantum bang. Are you okay? I am sending positive vibes into the universe for you.
There’s more parts in the series in the works and I’d hoped to have at least one in for this year, but I have major surgery right on top of the bang, and between that and admin duties it was just too much to participate as well. Thanks for the concern and the good wishes, though. That’s very sweet of you. I’m doing okay… just cosplaying a stress monster over here. lol.
