I discovered fanfic back in the late '90s and have been hooked since--it's basically my primary hobby. Took a break from writing for a good long while thanks to life and health issues, but have been back in the saddle for a little while now. I love exploring what-ifs and fixing things, and found family/family of choice is probably one of my favorite tropes.
