Summary: One night, right after the end of third year, Harry has a very vivid dream. Or at least, he thinks it’s a dream. Whatever it is, it changes the trajectory of his life as well as the lives of several other people in his world. He finds out it’s all about getting the correct information at the right time and then finding out who your friends are. Even more importantly, figuring out who your enemies are.

Notes
Note 1: I started this story about ten years ago. It’s about time I finished it. If it wasn’t for QB, I’d probably never have finished it.
Note 2: I believe canon is a suggestion, not a rule. Everything I write is an alternate universe.
Note 3: I use some direct quotes and paraphrasing from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The italics at the beginning of chapter 16 (my story) is a direct quote from the end of chapter 16 (her story). The italics in the beginning of my story, chapter 20 (my story), is a direct quote from chapter 31 (her story). The entire resurrection scene, chapter 20 (my story), is my retelling of it from chapter 32 (her story). There’s also a direct quote in italics.
